The Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures proudly presents a week full of fun student-run events about Germany, German culture, and language all over UVa Grounds. The week offers a wide variety of exciting events for everyone: ranging from a soccer tournament, to delicious German food, fun German language classes open to everyone, lectures on German philosophy and pop culture, study abroad opportunities, a German runway with the latest German fashion, a German movie night, German art, music, and photography, and an interactive exhibition in front of the amphitheater which asks: What is German?
